About Riverbend
The Riverbend Festival is an internationally award winning 9 day music festival! Located in the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee there is no better way to enjoy your summer. Riverbend takes place on the 21st Century Waterfront along the Tennessee River. Boasting five stages with over 100 bands featuring world class entertainment ranging from classic rock, jam bands, country, urban and bluegrass! Riverbend draws over 600,000 patrons annually. We offer countless activities to participate in during Riverbend. Come enjoy our Children's Village, Mobile exhibits, Bluecross Riverbend Run and Walk, Marketplace, Fireworks Finale and MUCH MORE!
Admission Pins
Pins are currently available online. Buy Online
General Admission Pins will be available on May 1st until midnight June 10th at area Kangaroo convenience stores for $30. On June 11th the gate price changes to $40.
One-night wristbands are $24 and can be purchased at any entry gate of the festival. We also offer senior citizen and military one-night discounts for $12.
FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT WRISTBANDS ARE $5.00.

Star Seating

Terms of Admission
Shirt and shoes are required. Performances are rain or shine. Artists and events are subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of the festival. There are no refunds regardless of cancellation of events. Picnic supplies, coolers, outside food and beverages, refillable containers and glass bottles are prohibited. For your safety, all bags are subject to search. Recording of artists’ performances are prohibited by terms of contracts, therefore, camcorders and audio equipment are not allowed. Cameras are permitted but may be restricted in some areas. Pets, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, rollerblades, laser pointers or weapons of any kind are not allowed at the Riverbend Festival. Other than that, have a great time!
Entry Gates
Gates open at 4:30 PM every night of the Festival. The Main Gate is located at the corner of Chestnut and 2nd Streets. Other gates include: The Hunter Museum Gate located near the Hunter Museum at the top of the stairs leading down to Riverfront Parkway, The Riverside Drive Gate located on Lookout and 2nd Streets, The Walnut Street Bridge Gate located under the South end of the Walnut Street Bridge and the Marina Gate located on Riverfront Parkway West of the Olgiati Bridge.
Riverbend Ride
Shuttle buses will be available for $1 per ride from 6PM-12:15AM every night of the festival, except during the Bessie Smith Strut (Monday, June 14th). Parking is available at Finley Stadium and the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The shuttle will drop patrons off at the corner of 3rd and Broad Streets.
Boaters
Boaters can enter the festival through the Walnut Street Pier Gate, but admission pins must be purchased in advance.
Alcoholic Beverages
Age verification wristbands are required for all alcoholic beverage consumption. Wristbands are available at all token and beer locations. Anyone violating Riverbend regulations, public law or assisting others to do so will be removed from the festival. A valid driver’s license verifying 21 years of age or other must be shown when acquiring your wristband. All alcohol sales will cease 15 minutes before the final show is scheduled to end. All other concessions will close when the last show is over. We reserve the right to randomly check identification at anytime.
Blanket Seating
Bring a blanket and stretch out on the lawn in front of the Coca-Cola Stage for only $10 a person (per night) with your Riverbend admission pin. Wristbands available at the Main Gate located at Chestnut and 2nd Street, and at the entrance to the Blanket Seating area.
Special Services
Accessible parking is provided at the parking lot in front of the Tennessee Aquarium adjacent to the Main Gate on Chestnut and 2nd Streets. Viewing areas are reserved at ground level at each stage, and restroom facilities for the handicapped are available at each First Aid location.
ATM Locations
ATM's can be found at BI-LO Token Booths throughout festival grounds. ATM's also located inside the Main Gate and other festival locations.
Tokens
Festival tokens are valued at $.50 cents each, and are used for all food and beverage purchases. Token Centers are also located throughout the festival where they are sold at face value. Tokens are good for all days of the festival, except for the Bessie Smith Strut. Tokens are nonrefundable, but may be used at the 2011 Riverbend Festival.
Parking
Plenty of free parking is available to Riverbenders courtesy of Unum. Junior Achievement will be collecting $10 per vehicle in lot “F” only. Please park in marked spaces. Additional paid parking is available throughout downtown Chattanooga.
Lost Children
The “Lost Parents Tent” is located at the Main Gate at 2nd and Chestnut Streets.
Family Zone
Returning for 2010, a smoke and alcohol free area located on Riverfront Parkway behind the Aquarium.
Volunteers
More than 1,400 volunteers at Riverbend will gladly assist you with any questions you have at the festival. Look for their special EVENT STAFF t-shirts and official ID badges. To volunteer, call 423-756-2211.

First AID services are provided by Hamilton County Emergency Services.
