Rising Star To Dazzle Hometown Crowd for Riverbend 2012

Lauren Alaina headlines Coca-Cola Stage for Riverbend finale Saturday June 16, 2012 

Chattanooga, TN-  The Tennessee Valley's own Lauren Alaina will wow Riverbend fans for the second time in her career. 

Did you know?  Before Lauren finished runner up on American Idol on FOX,  she was belting out tunes from the Chattanooga Times Free Press Children's Stage during Riverbend 2008.  She was 13 years old.  

Lauren Alaina will be joining Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" tour in January.  The tour launches in Greenville, SC and wraps in East Rutherford, NJ in March. Her singles include "Like My Mother Does" and "Georgia Peaches."

Also June 16th, the Taylor Reed Band will rock the Tennessee Lottery Stage.  The band features, Karen Alayne, Lauren Alaina's vocal coach prior to her time on American Idol.  

Get ready for the Bud Light Stage lineup.  Furturebirds will perform

Friday, June 8th and mark you're agenda for Foghat on Thursday, June 14th at 7:45 PM.

Rising country music star Eric Church will open Riverbend on Friday, June 8th.  Church was a nominee for the 2011 CMA New Artist of the Year Award. 

Commander Cody will rock the UNUM stage Saturday, June 9th.
